Extreme Networks, a publicly traded networking solutions provider, engaged us to find a Senior Director, Product Design. This net-new role would be the senior-most design leader, owning the entire product suite and managing a team of 80+ design professionals. Extreme Networks required a hands-on leader and design visionary to help establish a vision, strategy and delivery of design artifacts.

THE HIRE

A product design leader with 20+ years of professional design experience focused on user-centered design methods and 10+ years of innovative product design experience scaling the adoption of lean innovative design thinking processes, human-centric design principles and methodologies to drive results within Agile and phase-gated environments.

They are also a seasoned leader, scaling teams as large as 97 and building enterprise design systems used by thousands of teams.
